Development Systems for
MiMagic Arm-Based Applications Processors
The MiMagic development boards are a modular platform that
accelerates the design and debug of System-On-Chip (SOC) solutions
based on the MiMagic product family. The boards include all
the necessary components to complete designs targeted at handheld
Internet/multimedia devices.
NeoMagic offers a developers' kit for the MiMagic products,
to demonstrate the capabilities of the SOC, and to speed system
design. Developers' kits include a development
board, Startup Operating System, GUI and applications code, and
documentation.
These development systems are supplied with the OS port which include software drivers and OEM Adaptation Layer
(OAL).
The MiMagic development boards gives the developer access to all the hardware peripherals with device driver
support. The keypad, LCD, synchronous serial peripherals, memory, and PC
Card/CompactFlash™ modules are configurable. This allows the system developer to change the
peripherals supported.
